The long running TLC reality show American Chopper has come to the end of its road. The episode that will air on Thursday, Feb 11 will be the series last. According to American Chopper attorney, Stephen Markovits, negotiations between Orange County Choppers and the The Discover Channel didn’t pan out for season seven.

For six seasons, TLC filmed the Teutul Family as they operated their family business, Orange County Choppers. The series main theme was about the always tense relationship between  Paul Sr., the father and owner of the business, and his son’s Paul Jr. and Mikey. However, in recent months both Paul Jr and Mikey left Orange County Choppers to pursue their own ambitions thus removing the series’ main plot.

“The Teutuls will always be a part of the Discovery family and we congratulate them on a tremendously successful series run,” said a representative for TLC.
