Seth Enslow to try and break Bubba Blackwell’s world record for longest jump on a Harley-Davidson

Seth Enslow world record jumpThe American freestyle superstar, Seth Enslow, will soon attempt to shatter the world record for the longest distance jumped on a Harley-Davidson on his customized Harley-Davidson XR1200. The current record is held by the Bubba Blackwell,when he jumped his Harley-Davidson XR-750 for a distance of 157 feet. In what is being billed as “Seth Vs. Death”, Seth Enslow is confident that he will break Bubba Blackwell’s world record. The attempt will be made at Sydney’s Barangaroo and will be broadcast live on his website Harley World Record Jump.

DATE: Tuesday March 2, 2010.

LOCATION: Barangaroo, East Darling Harbour Waterfront, Sydney.
Entry via Gate 5 Hickson Rd.

TIME: 9:00am for 9:30am jump.

Bubba Blackwell Revisiting Jump that Nearly Cost Him His Life

The amazing Bubba Blackwell will be trying to jump 22 Ford Focus cars again, which will break his personal record of most cars jumped. He will be making the jump at New Hampshire’s Rockingham Park on June 12, 2010. He will be making the attempt on a Harley-Davidson XR750, the same type bike used by Evel Knievel in his stunts.

The last time Bubba attempted this jump he hit short of the landing ramp causing him to be thrown through the air at 70 mph. He sustained multiple life threatening injuries, which included a major head injury, 19 broken bones and two collapsed lungs.
